⑤until 引1导的时间状语从句till、until意为“到.…为止,直到才表示主句的动作持续到从句动作的时间为止。

例句:He lived in Texas until he was twenty.他在得克萨斯州一直住到了二十岁。

⑤by the time引导的时间状语从句,by the time 意为“到.…的时候在..之前”,表示主句的动作在从句动作之前就已经完成。例句:Bythe time we came here, they had already left forShanghai.我们到这里的时候,他们已经出发去上海了。

⑥since、eversince引导的时间状语。从句since、eversince 意为自.…以后,从……以来”,表示主句的动作自从句的动作时间起延续到现在且可能继续延续下去。

例句:He's been avoiding me ever since lasked him to returnmymoney.从我要求他还钱以来,他一直在躲我。

(2)地点状语从句

地点状语从句的常用引导词有where(..…的地方)、wherever(无论哪里)、everywhere(所有地方)、anywhere(任何地方)等。

例句:Ifound allthe missing things where llived before.

我在以前住过的地方找到了所有丢失的东西。

(3)目的状语从句

目的状语从句的常用引导词有 so that/in order that(为了,以便于)、in case(以防,万一)、for fear(that)(唯恐.生怕)等,且从句中常有情态动词 can、could、may、might、should 等。例句:We climbed very high so that we could get a better view.v我们爬得很高，以便于能看到更好的风景。

(4)结果状语从句

结果状语从句的引导词主要有so that(所以,因此),so...that.../such...at..(如此..以至于...)等

①so that引导的结果状语从句。Sothat既可以引导目的状语从句也可以引导结果状语从句,在引导目的状语从句时,从句中往往含有can/could/may/might/should等情态动词;而引导结果状语从句时类似的情态动词则很少出现。例句:We moved to the country so that we were awayfrom the noisy and dull city.

(7)原因状语从句

原因状语从句的常用引导词有:

because(因为)、as(因为)、since(既然由于)、now that(既然,由于)、in that(因为,由于)、seeing that(既然鉴于)、considering that(考虑到)、given tat(考虑到)等。例句:He failed the exam because he didn't work hard.v因为学习不努力,他考试没及格。

(8)让步状语从句

常用引导词有though/although/while/as(尽管,即使,虽然)、whereas(然面,但是)、eveni/even though(尽管,即使,虽然)、疑问词+ever(无论..).mo mater+疑问词(无论)等。

例句:Although it's raining, they are still working in the feld.v虽然在下雨,但他们仍在地里干活。

(9)比较状语从句

常用引导词有as(和.…样)、an(比.),其常见句式如下

①“A+谓语动词+形容词/副词比较级+than+B”表示“A比B更..."例句:His brotheris tallerthan me.他哥哥比我高。

②“A+谓语动词+as+形容词副词原级+as+B"表示“A和B一样... o.例句:Mydogis as old as thatone.我的狗和那条狗一样大。

③“A+谓语动词+倍数+as+形容词/副词原级+as+B"表示“A是B的..倍”

例句:This garden is ten lines as large as that one.这个花园是那个花园的十倍大。
